Enrollment declines again at ULM

Enrollment at the University of Louisiana-Monroe for the fall 2010 semester declined by two percent compared to the previous year, according to ULM interim president Stephen Richters.

ULM's preliminary fall 2010 enrollment was 8,813, Richters said. Richters provided the information to the media late last week through ULM's public relations department. The department released a letter Richters wrote to ULM employees concerning enrollment at the university.

"However, our full time enrollment continues to increase, and our total enrollment is greater than fall 2008," Richters said in his letter.
