Ouachita Parish Police Juror Mack Calhoun hopes the police jury will provide some feedback on redistricting proposals that reflect changes in police jury districts.

Redistricting is expected to take place next year to reflect changes shown locally from the 2010 Census. Redistricting of police jury districts has been devised by North Delta Regional Planning and Development District.

Officials with North Delta created redistricting proposals of police jury districts to reflect anticipated changes in district alignment. Calhoun anticipates his district will become smaller, which is welcome news to him.
