PAWS adoption event this weekend

PAWS of NE Louisiana will hold a pet adoption event from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Petco in Monroe.

The dogs and cats available for adoption are from the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter and can be seen online at www.parishpets.petfinder.com. The adoption fee is $60 for dogs and $50 for cats. The fee includes a spay/neuter certificate and 7-in-1 bordetella vaccinations.

Anyone who comes to Petco during the adoption event can get one free pet ID tag and can purchase additional tags for only $2 each.
