Pineville visits Ouachita

The No. 9 Ouachita Lions (3-0) begin district play this Friday as they host the Pineville Rebels (2-1).

The Lions have reeled off three consecutive victories against playoff caliber teams. Ouachita downed Neville 28-21 to begin the regular season and then beat Rayville 36-0 two weeks ago before downing Ruston 28-26 a week ago.

Dating back to the jamboree this month against West Ouachita, the Ouachita defense has given up just 11.75 points per game while the offense is averaging 30.75 points per game.
Against Ruston, it was an all-around team effort that kept the Lions in the win column for another week.
