Offensive showing bodes well

The Sterlington Panthers (2-1) will be back in action this week against the Rayville Hornets (0-3) who are still searching for their first win of the season.

Against OCS, the Panthers were more efficient in the running game than at any other point this season.

Sterlington rushed for 291 yards and distributed the ball to several different ball carriers to keep the OCS defense off balance.

Fullback Grant Bardin rushed for two scores and running back JaQuarius Douglas also recorded a rushing touchdown for the Panthers.
