Rams hope to banish bad luck with win at Calvary Baptist

The Richwood Rams (1-2) will attempt to regroup this Friday when they travel to Shreveport and take on the Calvary Baptist Cavaliers (3-0).

One of the top teams in Class 2A, Calvary Baptist is currently ranked in the Top 10 of the LSWA poll for the third consecutive week. Richwood is coming off their second consecutive loss as they fell to Class 5A champion West Monroe, 56-6, last week. The Rams' lone score came on a first-half touchdown pass thrown by quarterback Andrick Mitchell.

Mitchell was unable to complete a pass after intermission. Richwood finished with 134 yards and 2.97 yards per play.
