The Sterlington Chamber of Commerce will hold a political forum for candidates running for Sterlington's offices of mayor, police chief and alderman.

The event will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at A.L. Smith Elementary School in Sterlington.

Candidates will be given the opportunity to express their vision for the future of the community, and educate voters on their backgrounds and qualifications.

The public is urged to attend, and cookies and coffee will be served after the program.
