ULM soccer falls to Nicholls State

Nicholls State topped ULM 3-2 in overtime on Sunday afternoon at the ULM Soccer Complex. Kaity Mattsson scored the game-winner for the Colonels in the 96th minute on an assist from Carolyn Noble.

It marked the second consecutive overtime match for ULM and third in five matches this season. The Warhawks are now 1-2 when the match is decided in extra periods.

ULM (2-3) got a goal from freshman midfielder Alyssa Lopez in the 81st minute to tie the match and send it into overtime. Freshman defender Brittany Parker set up the goal with a nice dish to Lopez, who finished the ball in the left corner to knot the game at 2-2.
