Berry inspires hope for big changes at ULM
The University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks go into the 2010 season with many familiar faces on the field, but a plethora of new coaches will be roaming the sidelines.
The Warhawks did not renew the contract of former coach Charlie Weatherbie in December. Former offensive coordinator Todd Berry was then hired as the new coach weeks later. Berry was offensive coordinator at Miami (Fla.) and UNLV after leaving ULM in 2006.
Berry brought back former offensive coordinator Steve Farmer to oversee the offensive line and play calling this season. Farmer played for Berry at Illinois State and then served as his offensive line coach during his first stint at ULM. When Berry left ULM to go to Miami in 2006, Farmer was elevated to offensive coordinator.
