C-Dogs return 12 starters
 The Carroll Bulldogs return a whopping 12 starters this season to a team that could arguably be considered the biggest pleasant surprise of the 2009 high school football season in Ouachita Parish.
The C-Dogs went 9-1 and went undefeated in district 2-3A to claim the district crown for the first time under head coach Jackie Hamilton.
Hamilton enters his fourth season as Carroll head coach (15th overall with the school) with great optimism with his current squad. Hamilton has gone 12-18 in his years as Carroll head coach.
