One area resident hopes The Wellspring will look into how domestic violence victims are treated at Family Justice Center in light of how a friend was treated recently.

Located in Monroe, Family Justice Center is a one-stop service center for free, confidential services for those dealing with domestic violence, sexual assault, date violence and stalking.
The Wellspring operates Family Justice Center with grant funding and other financial resources.

According to Carl Wilson, who lives in Union Parish but works in Ouachita Parish, he and his wife recently took a friend to Family Justice Center after she was involved in a domestic violence incident.
