I know you are all taking your VITAMINS! Mike Cage is a strong believer in vitamins. We take Beta-Carotene, Lycopene,  E,C, D, Fish Oil, Lutein, Bilberry, Garlic, Flax Seed, Chromium Piccolonate, Coq 10, maybe the best of all is RESVERATROL. This is the extract of the skins of red grapes, used in making red wine. It is the substance that is believed to be the reason for increased longevity in people who consume red wine daily (ie Frenchmen, Spaniards and Italians). One 250 mgm capsule is the equivalent of drinking a bottle of red wine daily — and no headache! They are not cheap but neither is a good red wine!

We had a very good friend, our age, who died of kidney cancer. It was  fast growing and it was very painful. Our friend was a fighter and he fought the good fight with all his might.

Close to the end, Mike would go to his home, sometimes twice a day, to help him. One day he told Mike "I'm not gong to do this anymore, I'm just going to stop all my medication, no more catheterizing, can't take it anymore." Mike told him, "Oh NO, you must fight this to the end with all you have. Trust me it can get worse!"  We must all try and live a healthy lifestyle, strive to be happy, praise the Lord and God's will, have a peaceful ending.
