Wellspring honors local historic family of year
The Chancey Clyde and Sarah Reive Bell family of West Monroe was honored Saturday by The Wellspring as the local historic family of the year.
The historic family of the year was announced during The Wellspring's 15th annual Celebrate the Family awards ceremony, where the organization also recognized several other outstanding local families.
The Bell family was represented by Dr. Clyde E. Elliott, grandson of C.C. and Sarah Bell, and Elliott's wife, Shirley; Bell's son, Sherm and wife Chrissy; Bell's son, Walt and wife, Angel; Bell's nephew, Frank Seavey; Bell's great-granddaughter, Virginia Brookings; and Bell's grandchildren, Briana, Daniel, Christopher, Travis, Wyatt and Madison.
