Judge rules in Ellingtons, Traylor case

Former Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Chet Traylor will have to make public financial records concerning joint bank accounts he held with his late wife, a judge ruled last week.

Presiding in 5th Judicial District Court in Winnsboro, Judge Anne Simon ruled that the sons of Traylor's late wife, Peggy Traylor, can have access to financial records Traylor held with Peggy Traylor. The Ellingtons serve as co-administrators of their mother's estate.

Peggy Traylor died intestate in 2009.
