St. Francis Medical Center held an open house and a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday for its new Wound Healing Center, located on the second floor of the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute.

The St. Francis Wound Healing Center is located at 411 Calypso Street, Suite 200, Monroe, LA 71201, inside the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute.

To establish the center, St. Francis Medical Center partnered with Florida-based National Healing Corporation, which manages wound healing centers nationwide with an average healing rate of 80 percent attained in 12 to16 weeks of therapy.
