Merlene Childers Bradford
Born in West Monroe, Merlene Childers Bradford, 77, passed away July 24, 2010, in Baton Rouge.
She lived in Florida for many years, retiring from Orange County. She relocated to Baton Rouge in 1994.
Survivors include a son, William Bradford of Williston, Fla.; nephew, Norman Childers of Tampa, Fla.; Jimmy Childers of Tallahassee, Fla.; Bruce Childers of Baton Rouge; and M.A. "Sonny" Childers of Healdsburg, Calif.
She was prceded in death by parents, Fred C. and Nannie Manley Childers; and three brothers, Fred, Milton and Courtney Childers.

David Dewitt McMillian
Funeral services for David Dewitt McMillian, 93, of West Monroe, were held Wednesday, Aug. 18 at Unity Cemetery in Forest. He passed away on Aug. 13 at Ridgecrest Nursing Home in West Monroe. Arrangements were by Griffin Funeral Home of West Monroe.
