Sterlington brings back option rushing attack

The Sterlington Panthers will begin their 2010 football season on Friday night with a scrimmage at Panther Stadium against long-time rival Oak Grove.

The scrimmage will begin with junior varsity action at 5:30 p.m. followed by the varsity teams locking up.
The junior varsity teams will compete in three, 10-play sessions followed by the varsity teams playing three, 12-play sessions against each other.

It is a day that Sterlington has prepared for since fall camp began and the team feels good about getting to hit someone in another colored jersey this time of year.
