Neville takes on Minden this week
The Neville Tigers will hit the football field against another school for the first time in 2010 when they scrimmage against the Minden Tigers at 6 p.m. Friday.
The game will be held at Crimson Tide Stadium on the campus Minden High School.
This year is a season of unknowns so far for the 2009 LHSAA Class 4A state champions.
Just seven starters return from the championship squad — four on offense and three on defense.
Sophomore John Diarse is one returning starter who will be at a new position.
Diarse was a star in the Class 4A title game as a wide receiver and defensive back but will go under center and be the starting quarterback this fall.
