Eagles begin news season versus Tigers The Ouachita Christian School Eagles will be hitting the football field this Friday at 6 p.m. when they host the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers in a fall scrimmage.
The scrimmage will mark the first time this season that the Eagles have had to opportunity to face another team in full contact situations.
OCS returns many offensive skill players that will go a long way in determining their success for the 2010 season. Quarterback Paul Michael Garner and wide receivers Mark Laird and Bryce Gilken, along with running back Colby Webb return to give the Eagle offense a nucleus of experienced players. The main thing the OCS coaching staff is currently watching with a sharp eye is the offensive effectiveness during the second half of games.
