Public library officialls open Ollie Burns branch

The Ouachita Parish Public Library officially opened the new Ollie Burns Branch today, Thursday, Aug. 12.

The new library is located at 5601 U.S. 165 Bypass South.

The 10,200 square foot building has been under construction since June 2009. It will be the ninth branch for the library system, with the new J. R. Searcy Branch in the Luna Community still under construction.
