Local talent dots ULM roster
While much has changed for the University of Louisiana-Monroe football program — including a new head coach and new position coaches in many spots — local players that dot the depth chart are in prime positions to make an impact this season.
Running back Frank Goodin, a West Monroe product, heads into his senior year needing just 874 yards to break the school's all-time career rushing record set by Calvin Dawson in 2007.
Even though new head coach Todd Berry has earned a reputation as running a pass heavy offensive scheme, Goodin seems unphased by the potential lack of carries he could see this season.
