Saints begin preseason slate
With spirits still soaring among New Orleans Saints fans over the team's Super Bowl XLIV win against the Indianapolis Colts last winter, the Saints begin their first preseason as league champions tonight with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff against the New England Patriots.
The matchup against the Patriots offense, anchored by former league MVP quarterback Tom Brady, will be an interesting start to the 2010 campaign for the Saints.
The Saints will closely monitor the health of starting running back Pierre Thomas in the game.
