Delta officially opens new campus
Louisiana Delta Community College officials welcomed local and state leaders to their new campus Tuesday as they officially celebrated a new beginning in a new location.
Established in 2001, Delta Community College had been housed on the campus of the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
For the first two years of its existence, Delta Community College occupied part of Louisiana Technical College's Ouachita Campus. In 2003, it moved to ULM, but the college also occupied space at the West Monroe Alternative School, Swanson Correctional Facility, Monroe City Annex and the Eastgate Shopping Center.
