The Twin Cities Mayors' Committee on Disabilities will meet 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10 at the West Ouachita Senior Center, located at 1800 North 7th St. in West Monroe.

Members of the committees will give reports on the outcome of the 30th anniversary dinner and awards ceremony held recently at the Monroe Civic Center.

Eight academic scholarships were presented and awards were given to individuals, companies, and organizations that have helped the cause of the TCMCD committee. 

 Anyone interested in becoming part of the committee that assists and oversees the helping of the disabled in Ouachita Parish is welcome to attend the monthly meeting of TCMCD which are held the second Tuesday of every month.
