Jones plans town hall meetings
Rep. Rosalind Jones will conduct several legislative update town hall meetings at several local recreation centers during August.
Town hall meetings are scheduled as follows: 6 p.m. Monday, Aug.16, at Henrietta Johnson Recreation Center; 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, at the Powell Street Recreation Center; and 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug.19, at Emily P. Robinson Recreation Center.
Constituents of District 17 will have an opportunity to hear highlights from the 2010 regular legislative session.
Jones will host consecutive sessions to answer questions and address concerns constituents may have pertaining to bills submitted, legislations passed and budgetary issues.
The community is invited to participate in this informal setting. |
