Battle of the Badges keeps growing
The 2010 edition of "Battle of the Badges" will return to the Monroe Civic Center arena on Aug. 14.
The event pits local law enforcement officers against firemen against one another with sales during the event going to charity.
In the past, each side had a different charity that they would give the winning prize money.
This year the event will give all proceeds to the J.R. Searcy Scholarship fund.
