Bayou Black Rodeo returns to area
The Bayou Black Open Rodeo will return to the Monroe Civic Center on Saturday, Aug. 21.
The event will mark an entire weekend of activities surrounding the tenth annual rodeo.
The rodeo brings together some of the top rodeo talent in the south for one night of bronco riding, calf roping, and barrel racing in Monroe.
The "Greeks of Comedy Tour" will begin at 7 p.m. Aug. 21.
The comedy show will be the first of many events scheduled to coincide with the main rodeo competition.
