Delta prepares for grand opening
Louisiana Delta Community College will host its official ribbon cutting ceremonies Tuesday, Aug. 3, at its new campus on Millhaven Road.
The event will begin at 2 p.m. Later that day, around 6:30 p.m., the college will host an open house celebration with "food, fun and entertainment by Dr. Zarr's Amazing Funk Monster Band."
According to Dr. Luke Robins, chancellor of Louisiana Delta Community College, Gov. Bobby Jindal as well as state lawmakers, community leaders and the LCTCS Board of Supervisors will be on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremonies at the main entrance to the Louisiana Purchase Building.
