America's 'new morality' neither new nor moral
More than ever in the history of our country, we are living in a "Playboy", vulgar, immoral world. This "new morality" is neither new nor moral. It is as old as humanity. You probably don't need to open your Bible to Genesis 5:5 to remember that "…the wickedness of man was great in the earth; and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually…"
Our "new Morality" is the natural product of the popular existential philosophy that we do not make our life choices based on God's word…what is right and what is wrong…but "What I want …what pleases me…what will get me more, whether it be power, sexual satisfaction, money…or whatever! According to that philosophy, there is no "…no "right or wrong".
Of course God says otherwise; Jesus said: (John 8:32) "You shall know the truth and the truth will make you free. That/is because of what he said (John 14:6)"I am the way, the truth…and the Father except by me." .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition!
