Deaton departs OCS for new challenge
Bruce Deaton, one of the brightest advocates for youth soccer over the past seven years in Ouachita Parish, was hired last week as the girls soccer coach at Louisiana College in Pineville.
Deaton served as head coach of the boys and girls soccer teams at Ouachita Christian School over the past seven years.
Deaton was also the assistant director of the Northeast Louisiana Soccer Association, which has grown nearly double in numbers over the past five years.
