ASA event comes to town

The Archery Shooters Association will be coming to town on July 29 to begin the McKenzie ASA Pro/AM Classic Championship.

The event will be held at the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office Shooting Range in West Monroe beginning next Thursday and concluding Saturday.

More than 1,300 of the top professional and amateur archers from across the globe will be coming to Ouachita Parish to compete for the Pro/Am Championship. The top 50 American archery manufacturers will be on hand to present the latest in archery and bowhunting gear.
