MedCamps' summer outing delivers enjoyment for disabled children

For the past several years, MedCamps of Louisiana's camp director Wes Cavin has watched children from all across the state make life-changing strides while enjoying some summer fun.

Some of the children come to MedCamps of Louisiana's Camp Alabama in Sibley to take part in a week of activities they may never get to do otherwise.

They ride horses, go canoeing, fish and enjoy spending time with other children who are struggling with the same condition.
