Film looks at world of tattoos Local filmmaker Rodney Ray has begun pre-production on a new documentary shining the light on the world of tattoos.
Like R-Squared Productions' first feature film "Flag of My Father," the documentary will be shot exclusively in Ouachita Parish and will feature people from the parish and surrounding areas.
"We hope to provide a deeper look into the process of tattooing, the motivation behind the designs and the people who see their body as a canvas," Ray said, "Regardless of your experience with tattoos, all preferences and backgrounds are important."
People interested in being a part of the documentary should have a compelling story associated with their decision to get inked or have their ink removed…no subject is taboo. Business owners and white collar professionals are encouraged to participate for the 'corporate perspective' on this cultural practice.
To participate, email christina.porter@r2films.net or call the R-Squared building at 323-6900. |
