Routon, Waldroup marry
Jennifer Nicole Waldroup of West Monroe and Michael "Drew" Routon of Olla exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m., June 19, 2010 at The Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe. James Gardner officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Jim and Pam McKay of West Monroe and Mike and Cherry Routon of Olla. Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Betty Hill and the late Mr. M.R. "Buddy" Hill, Mr. James McKay and the late Mrs. Joan McKay. Grandparents of the groom are Mr. Clifton and Bonnie Poole, Mrs. Johnnie Routon and the late Sambo Routon.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless lace A-line gown with train, accented with a black sash flowing the length of the train. Her bridal bouquet consisted of calla lilies.
