PAWS plans adoption event
PAWS of Northeast Louisiana will help homeless animals find new homes Saturday, June 26 at Petco in Monroe.
Dogs and cats will be available for adoption from noon to 4 p.m. Animals available for adoption are from the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter.
They can be seen online at www.parishpets. petfinder.com.
The adoption fee is $60 for dogs and $50 for cats. This includes a spay/neuter certificate and 7-in-1 and bordetella vaccinations.
Anyone who comes by Petco during the offsite adoption can get one free pet identification tag.
People can purchase additional tags for $2 each.
PAWS provides the tags as part of their Tag Your Pet program.
