Church plans VBS
First Presbyterian Church of Monroe will hold vacation Bible school on Monday, June 28-Thursday, July 1, at the church, 1201 Stubbs Ave. in Monroe. Hours are from 5:30-8:15 p.m. Children ages 4 through fifth grade are invited to attend.
The theme is "Galactic Blast: A Cosmic Adventure Praising God Vacation Bible School!"
Each mission includes a quick meal in the Astro Bistro, Cosmic Crafts, Rocket Recreation, science activities in the Orbital Observatory, and Bible stories in the Good News Galaxy.
