The Northeast Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Society met on Sunday, June 13, in the Louis Locke room of the Ouachita Parish Public Library on Stubbs Avenue in Monroe.

James Free, president, gave a report on the progress of the August program by Mr. Adderley.

He announced a dinner meeting with Adderley at Catfish Cabin on Friday, Aug. 6. The genealogy program will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the library on Stubbs Avenue. The event will replace the normal August meeting.
