Webber delivers positive report on state of parish schools

Ouachita Parish Schools Superintendent Dr. Bob Webber has never been prouder of Ouachita students than he was last week when he watched the West Monroe High School choir perform before a group of veterans at Normandy Beach in France.

The choir sang the national anthem on June 6, the 66th anniversary of D-Day, before a number of veterans during special ceremonies held at Normandy.

Webber watched the veterans with tears in their eyes as they approached choir members to thank them for their performance.
