Councilman questions airport change orders

Monroe City Councilman Eddie Clark is concerned with the number of change orders that have been needed to complete construction of the new Monroe Regional Airport terminal.
Clark voiced his frustration about the seventh change order for the project during last week's regular city council meeting.

Lincoln Builders of Ruston currently is working on the $35.5 million terminal project.
Since the project began roughly one year ago, there have been seven change orders, driving up the cost of the project by about $1 million.

Anticipated completion date for the new terminal project is February 2012.
