Festival looks to move to Monroe
Representatives with the Northeast Louisiana Celtic Festival asked Monroe officials if the city would once again sponsor the festival.
Festival founder Enoch "Doyle" Jeter recently lobbied the Monroe City Council for financial support for the festival.
Over the past couple of years, the festival has been held at Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe. This year, the group plans to conduct the festival at Forsythe Park.
