VOA seeks water donations
Volunteers of America of Northeast Louisiana is requesting water donations from local residents for the group to provide homeless people in the area with water during the hot summer months.
According to Mel Granger, outreach addiction specialist for Volunteers of America of Northeast Louisiana, about 228 men, women, and children are homeless in Northeast Louisiana.
Water donations can be dropped-off during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at the Volunteers of America Office at 1808 Roselawn Avenue, Monroe.
