Summer happenings in Ouachita Parish
Hot Topics on ABC's "The View" was a hoot as Whoopi Goldberg said that she does not understand the women trying to get brown in these dangerous tanning machines for she has been brown all her life. She does not understand getting permanent brown lips and eyeliner either. Then the thing that really got her attention was beautiful blonde women coming out with corn rows in their hair. "What is that all about?" asks Whoopie. We don't know except it's a very expensive hair style.
Yea for Sandra Bullock's first public statement since the "After Oscar Big Split." She laced the announcement with humor and took the high road by not mentioning her ex. We've already forgotten his name. Go girl and move on with your life as fast as you can.
Having just finished reading the book, "Bobby and Jackie" about the Kennedys, their relationship, Ari Onassis and Camelot, we were shocked and disappointed about the perception we as Americans had of Jackie O. Martha Jane Anderson retired from University of Louisiana-Monroe after 35 years of service as Assistant Dean of Students and SGA Advisor. She is married to Patrick H. Anderson Sr., has two children, and four grandchildren. |
