Brandon Cross of Carroll High School is a June featured artist at the Louisiana Governor's Mansion.

Louisiana First Lady Supriya Jindal announced the selections. Cross placed second in the state.
This month, artwork is showcased from the winning pieces of George Rodridgue's Foundation of the Arts (GRFA) 2010 Scholarship Art Contest themed "Louisiana: The State We Love." The contest was open to all high school seniors attending Louisiana public and private schools, home schooled students and GED students. The winning pieces were selected from over 300 entries from across the state, with the top 16 finalists sharing over $30,000 in scholarships from GFRA.
