Several times during the year we, as a people of the United States, stop and honor our military personnel, especially our veterans. These are some of the finest men and women to ever walk on the face of this earth and they are giving or have given a lot of their time protecting our country.
Even though we have factions of people trying their hardest to take Christ out of our military, I personally don't think it will ever happen. Most of these people trying to put God out of America probably have never worn the uniform of one of the branches of military service.
Having had the opportunity to serve and be with people from around the nation, I have seen first hand soldiers call on the Lord for protection and guidance in whatever comes in front of them. A soldier, especially in war time, never knows what hour shall be his or her last.
