Biedenharn drop-in focuses on gifts for fathers

The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens invites families to drop in Saturday, June 12 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Education Building adjacent to the Coke Museum to make a Father's Day gift for Dad and learn about herbs for the grill.

Crown your Dad "King of the Grill" with a grilling apron you decorate at the Children's Drop-in.
Children will make a colorful and fun apron for Dad using different designs, paint markers and quotes. After decorating an apron, children can learn about scented herbs at the "Scratch and Sniff" planters in the attached courtyard. Some of the herbs available to experience include chocolate mint, lemon balm and pineapple sage.

Packets of basil seeds and a limited supply of seedlings will be available to take. Choose a recipe card with ideas on grilling dishes using herbs to sign and give to dad.
