Neville has spots to fill
The defending Class 4A state champions, the Neville Tigers, rolled out a new look offense during their spring scrimmage against the Rayville Hornets.
The offense looked the same formation-wise, but the Tigers graduated 39 players from the 2009 championship team and sophomore John Diarse has taken over at quarterback for Louisiana Tech signee Taylor Burch.
Diarse had an interception and two touchdown catches during the Class 4A title game last year as a freshman. He will exclusively play quarterback this season for a Neville team that may not be set at every position by the time fall camp begins.
