Area track club wins title
The Peak Performance Track Club of Monroe will be hosting the Peak Performance Invitational this Saturday at Groseclose Track on the campus of the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
The first events begin at 9 a.m. and will include area athletes competing against several of the south's top track clubs. Athlete ages will range from kindergarten through 12th grade as they compete in various events throughout the day.
The local track club is still relishing their success at the Pearl River Invitational in Pearl, Miss., last weekend.
