Councilman: City neglects district
A Monroe city councilman called on the city to do a better job in improving appearance issues in south Monroe, and he says it is an issue the city continues to neglect.
Councilman Eddie Clark said there are areas in south Monroe where ditches have not been mowed in years.
"I have been harping on this issue, pounding on this issue, requesting things be done about this issue," Clark said at a Monroe City Council meeting.
