While some area basketball coaches have called to inquire about the opening of head basketball coach at West Monroe High School, school officials will not begin the interview process until June 14.

"There have been a few calls that I know of," West Monroe athletic director/football coach Don Shows said. "If any applications have been sent in I don't know about it."

Shows confirmed that former West Monroe assistant Michael Hunter, now an assistant coach at Richwood High School, was one person that has expressed interest in the job.
