Rifle range event aids Ouachita economy
Hundreds of archery enthusiasts from around the South took part in Straight Arrow Foundation's "Shoot for Our Troops" archery competition over the weekend.
Straight Arrow Foundation is a non-profit that raises money for law enforcement efforts as well as for military causes. The foundation also works toward getting youth involved in archery.
Held at the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office Rifle Range in western Ouachita, "Shoot for Our Troops" created a roughly $30,000 economic impact on Ouachita Parish.For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
